Christ Church Tuggeranong began in February 2021 with a few people who had moved over from Adelaide to plant a church in the south of Canberra. From mid-2021 we began meeting at Covenant Christian School and have remained there since.
Christ Church Tuggeranong holds to the faith that was once and for all delivered to the Saints (Jude 3), as summarised in the Nicene Creed, and as recovered in the Protestant Reformation with the 5 Solas (namely, with the authority of Scripture alone, we see that we are saved by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone, to the glory of God alone).
More specifically, Christ Church Tuggeranong holds to Reformed Baptist doctrine. The most helpful and comprehensive summary of these beliefs are set out in the Second London Baptist Confession of Faith (1677/1689).
We are ultimately about making disciples of Jesus Christ and glorifying our great God in every aspect of our lives.
